Exhausted... in a good way

We had the opportunity to get out of town this past weekend and enjoy some family time with some friends of ours so we took a quick jaunt down to the Fort Mohave Indian Reservation and camped at the KOA at the AVI. Our friends brought their jet skis and we spent the days laying on the beach and riding jet skis on the river. WHAT A BLAST!! But I have to say, I am completely exhausted from all that exposure to the sun. Its amazing to me how much the sun will zap your energy. But it was worth it.

The one thing I do feel bad about is I took my Camera.. but didnt take it with me to the river to take pictures.. The first time we headed over I just plain forgot to grab it. When we came back for lunch I thought about bringing it but the sand on the beach is just so fine I was a little nervous. I have lost a camera to the dust before so rightfully so.. but I feel bad that I didn't get any pics of our weekend. I think its two fold with the fact that I find so little time to scrapbook my own personal photos that I sub consiously dont take more to add to the growing stack I already have to work on. I am hoping to attend more free crops through the Vegas Valley Scrapbook Club and actually work on my own personal photos instead of work and I can start catching up.

Got that card finished and other things

Ok, I seriously need a new computer.. For the most part it works great but my front end memory is so not up to par for "today's" applications that I get frustrated with how long it takes to update my website.

Anyway, here is a card I made digging in my scraps. I started it yesterday because I needed a card for a Bridal shower but ran out of time due to other personal issues. So anyway, it evolved into just a generic Hello! Card. Supplies I used where That's Amore paper pack, Simple Blossoms stamp set and Say it in style stamp set. All from Close to My Heart

Trying to get the Hang of this

So I have added a few more little tidbits just trying to figure out this whole blogging thing. Hopefully pictures will follow soon. Right now its just trying to find time to do all the things I would like to/need to do in a day. So for now, I am off to do some creating. I need to get ahead for the Primm Crop get a way coming in June! So hopefully I will post more later, if not next week sometime... as we are fixing to have some good solid family time this weekend which means no computer for me. ;) Until next time....

They are driving me crazy and I am supposed to like it

Its been a day of different emotions that is for sure. I found out a friend from High School passed away over the weekend. And while I havent seen her since high school it still makes me sad since she was so young and just had a baby. So my thoughts are for sure with her family as they cope with this sad time. It really puts into perspective how precious life is and how short it really is. Its times like these I really want to appreciate my kids, hug them and love them to death.... but then they show up, arguing, refusing to do what I ask them, fighting etc. THAT makes it really hard.. I do love them I just wish they were more cooperative when it comes to doing their chores and what not.

On the creative front I started a card. I never seem to have the time to do any creating lately with trying to keep up with day to day cleaning and errands. I am hoping tomorrow will be a better day. I just had to much running around to do today. Ideally if I can get where I am creating something every day I will be happy. Well off to do some finishing up before I have to go bowling tonight. Just practicing

I really need to get used to this whole blogging thing. I can totally see how much fun this could be if I could get into the habit of using it on a regular basis. I would love to talk about how my couponing is going. Give and get tips and just basically talk about the great deals out there. Then there is my business. I am hoping that now my scraproom is brand new again. I can start working on posting artwork on a regular basis on here and on my website www.michellefalline.myctmh.com

So a quick synopsis of whats been going on for the last few months.. "D" is now registered for Junior High. I am not sure how I am supposed to feel about that. Seems like just yesterday I gave birth to her. She is growing quickly as are all my children and I am finding its more important now more then ever to savor every moment as it will be gone in a blink of an eye. It also pounds home the importance of getting back to my scrapbooks again.. I do scrapbook, but its always on a work level.. rarely if ever on a personal level and I need to get back to that. I miss the days of scrapping every week.. years ago.

I started this whole coupon thing with Grocerysmarts.com. LOVE IT!!! Love it!! again I LOVE IT!! I have been saving so much money its now as much of a game as it is a neccessity. Hopefully I can start posting some of that here for you to check out. I am finding though that some stores/cashiers love to see the savings I am able to do while others seem to what to stop me from using all my coupons or give me a hard time for doing so. Its not like I am taking money out their pockets.. though some cashiers sure act like I am. Overall though its been a great experience and it feels good to think that at this point, I can go weeks without grocery shopping (except perishables of course)
